 Customized Client Experience

Have you ever had your own attorney before? Even if you have had legal representation, we know the impression people come to us with is that working with lawyers can be inconvenient, inaccessible, and somewhat intimidating. We know that the traditional way of running a law office is not always what works for the people we serve. Hiring an attorney is a serious investment, that's why at ELC we do things your way

Do I have to travel to an office to meet my attorney?

Will I have to fill out a bunch of government  forms?

How much is this whole process going to cost me?

Virtual Practice

You don't need a babysitter to communicate with your attorney

When we decided to establish a virtual-mobile practice we did so with our client’s interests  in mind. We’ve found that our clients are usually looking to make the bankruptcy process as painless and cost-effective as possible. At ELC we make a pledge to our clients that their relationship with their attorney will never become an added burden to the already stressful situation our clients come to us in.

First and foremost, we will not ask our clients to take time out of their busy schedule, arrange for a babysitter, transportation, parking, etc. just to meet with their attorney at a typically over-designed law office that they, the client, are paying for!

Moreover we find that expensive law office set-ups like that just distract their clients from the fact they don’t have much access to their attorney. We provide convenience while giving our clients access to an attorney literally at their fingertips.

At ELC we customize our client experience by practicing law virtually. People are now used to completing even important and sensitive tasks remotely. They do their banking, purchase insurance, and even shop for cars through the Internet or over the phone. With ELC we provide complete counseling and representation through your entire bankruptcy case without you having to leave your home or office.

You can even make any court appearances (such as the mandatory creditor's meeting) virtually. The bankruptcy court conducts these appearances via Zoom. And with the ELC Questionnaire, you provide all your necessary financial information to us through a secure, digital form.

That said, even though we don't maintain a brick-and-mortar office, if you’re the kind of individual who likes to do things face to face, we’re happy to meet you at your place of business or a local coffee shop.

Digital Information Gathering

Doesn't filing for bankruptcy mean filling out long and confusing government forms? Not unless you like that kind of thing! The truth is, your attorneys are going to need a lot of information from you to make the bankruptcy process work; but that doesn’t mean you need to be a legal or financial expert to file for bankruptcy. And it doesn’t mean the process has to be painful or tedious for the client. Leave that part to us!

At ELC a major part of our customized client experience is our streamlined digital form, the ELC Questionnaire. We make it easy for the client to provide information to us digitally, on their own time, and we make it crystal clear to the client where they are in the process.

But this doesn’t mean we abandon you to the algorithm and move on to the next client! At ELC we are here to help you at every step, through whatever communication method you prefer. We are happy to talk you through it!

Even if you hate online forms and staring at screens in general, we are here for you. We believe the complex and confusing aspects of bankruptcy should never stop anyone from filing for bankruptcy. We will work with you to make this process a blessing and not a burden.

At ELC we believe that everyone should have access to the benefits of filing for bankruptcy, regardless of their personal wealth or business profile. Can you represent yourself in a bankruptcy case? The answer is yes. However, there are many nuances to the bankruptcy process and to avoid the pitfalls and get the most out of the process and not set yourself up for possible problems, the guidance of a competent legal representative is highly recommended in all but the simplest cases.

With ELC as your attorneys, you won’t have to make the choice between competent representation and adding to your financial burden. We don’t want the high costs of legal representation to prevent anyone from recognizing the benefits of bankruptcy. Through our virtual practice model, use of technology, and personalized approach we are able to make the full benefits of the process more accessible.

We offer special discounts for public school teachers, active duty military, students, first responders, as well as special needs and low income individuals and families.
